Hello, my fuzzy friends!

I have some wonderful news to share. Our Chocolate Agouti Giant Angora Certificate of Development application has been approved!

Holy cannoli, what a moment for our Colored Giant Angora Village. This approval means we can move forward with the official COD journey for Chocolate Agouti Giant Angoras.

Now we are full steam ahead as we prepare a special exhibit of 12 Chocolate Agouti Giant Angoras for the 2026 ARBA Convention in Reno, Nevada, October 24 through 28.

I want to be very clear about what this step means. Chocolate Agouti is not yet a fully recognized Giant Angora variety. Our first official COD presentation is planned for 2028. The Reno exhibit is an exciting opportunity to share these beautiful rabbits and the work our village has been doing.

Our recognized Chestnut Giant Angoras helped lay the foundation for this project. Now breeders are working together to strengthen body, wool density, three-wool structure, ring definition, and that lovely Chocolate Agouti color.

This has never been one person's project. It has taken breeders sharing knowledge, genetics, encouragement, and a great big dream. I am so thankful for everyone who has helped bring us to this point.

Boy howdy, we still have work ahead of us, but this is a milestone worth celebrating.
