Genetics Guests, Mill Yarn & 50% Off Tie-Dye!
Published about 1 month ago • 2 min read
Hello, Angora friends!
There is so much happening right now! We have a new learning adventure taking shape, English Angora fiber at the mill, beautiful Chestnuts looking for homes, colorful tie-dye shirts, baby bunny videos, and Convention coming right around the corner.
Calling Rabbit Color Genetics Experts and Enthusiasts!
I am putting together a small rabbit color genetics study group for our Village Elders. We are here to learn together, and I am certain we will discover subjects where we would benefit from the experience and knowledge of others in our amazing Angora and rabbit community.
Cohort One will be limited to 12 seats. All meeting dates will be announced before the interest form opens. Community participation will be an important part of this study group.
Cameras may remain off, and quiet handwork is always welcome, but participants will be encouraged to stay present, ask questions, share ideas, and work through the material together.
I would also love to build a list of potential special guests who may be willing to help when a topic fits their experience.
Are you a breeder, judge, registrar, COD developer, genetics enthusiast, or someone with a special interest in a particular color, gene series, or breeding challenge? Perhaps you have a niche topic you would love to share. I would love to hear from you!
Special guest conversations would be recorded separately from our private study-group meetings. They would supplement our educational video collection and, with the guest’s knowledge and permission, may also be shared publicly through Sinfully Soft’s YouTube channel.
You do not need to know everything. None of us does! We are all about learning, sharing, and learning together.
If you are interested, simply reply to this email and tell me a little about the topic you would enjoy discussing. Would you like to help?
English Angora Fiber Is at the Mill! Yay!
Our beautiful Betty Chu's English Angora fiber is officially at the mill and on its way to becoming yarn!
This has been a long-awaited step, and I cannot wait to see these special fibers transformed into beautiful, finished yarn. I will keep you updated as the project progresses. Yay!
Beautiful Chestnuts Ready for Adoption!
I have a new batch of beautiful Chestnut Giant Angoras that are ready to find their new homes!
As much as I would love to keep them all, I need to make room in the barn for the next generations of Chocolate Agoutis. These lovely Chestnuts are waiting for the right families and breeding programs.
Visit the Sinfully Soft Classified Ads to see who is currently available:
Yes, I know I can be a little long-winded! LOL. I did my best to include timestamps so you can jump directly to the subjects that interest you most.
Are You Ready for Convention?
Convention is rolling right up on us! Are you ready?
Be sure to visit and follow the Facebook Event Page. This is where you will find important announcements, updates, reminders, and all the exciting details as we get closer.
There is so much excitement building in our Angora community. Thank you for learning, sharing, creating, and cheering one another on.
Until next time,
Tammy

Hello, my fuzzy friends! The phrase “breeding true” came up during a recent group conversation, and boy howdy, it left me scratching my head. What does it really mean? Does it mean every baby looks alike? Does it mean staying within one rabbit family? Are we breeding true to a color, a pedigree, the ARBA Standard of Perfection, or something else entirely? I did a little research, a lot of soul-searching, and then sat down to share my thoughts in this week’s Sinfully Soft's YouTube Live. My...
