The Angora Royalty Cards Are Finally Here!

Hello, my Angora friends!

After months of designing, revising, proofing, waiting, and trying not to drive myself crazy, the Angora Royalty playing cards are finally here!

Two big, heavy boxes arrived at my door, and I could hardly believe I was holding real, professionally printed decks in my hands.

Each suit celebrates a different Angora breed. The diamonds feature Satin Angoras, the clubs feature Chestnut Giant Angoras, the hearts feature English Angoras, and the spades feature French Angoras.

Even the jokers have a story. Those mischievous little Angoras also appear in my Giant Angora coloring books!

I shared the finished cards during this week’s live, along with an update on our Chocolate Giant Angora projects.

Miss Ganache, one of my beautiful F3 Chocolate Giant Angora does, also joined me for the beginning of her haircut. She was bred young, raised her babies beautifully, maintained her condition, and quickly began growing another lovely coat.

She is the kind of doe I would normally keep, but this project is about working together. Miss Ganache will be traveling east after the ARBA Convention in Reno to help another breeder build a strong Chocolate Giant Angora program.

During the live, I also talked about:

🐇 Our goal of producing 100 Chocolate Agoutis for the 2028 presentation
🐇 The possibility of a future Chocolate Giant Angora COD
🐇 Sorting prime wool, seconds, and thirds
🐇 Safely removing mats
🐇 Protecting the wool on an Angora rabbit’s heels
🐇 Giving a young Chocolate buck his first positive haircut experience

Little by little, these projects are coming together. My goal is to improve something by just one percent every day. Those tiny improvements eventually become something much bigger than we imagined.

Thank you for continuing to cheer me on!

Next on the agenda... packing for our rabbit show in Stevenson, WA! Yay! Let the rabbit fuzzy fun begin!

P.S. Adorable new coloring books! Fall themed "Kindness Grows Here" & a Fiber Crafty themed "Be Kind, Create Joy"

Buried in Giant Angoras

CONVENTION ENTRIES CLOSE OCTOBER 5! I haven’t disappeared. I’m just buried in Giant Angoras! Between the sheer number of rabbits here and everything it takes to get ready for convention, I’ve had my head down and my hands full. We’re bringing quite a crew to Reno, and I’m especially excited that we’re scheduled for our first Chocolate Agouti Giant Angora exhibition. We plan to have at least 12 of these beautiful chocolatey goodies on display. Please come see them! Thinking about entering...
